Our outdoor classroom is a carefully planned garden space filled with engaging learning zones. It’s designed to support all areas of your child’s development through hands-on activities, sensory experiences, and playful discovery—all just steps away from their everyday nursery rooms.
Bifolding Doors: The Best of Both Worlds
One of the most exciting features of our new outdoor classroom is the beautiful bifolding doors that connect it seamlessly to our indoor space. These wide, open doors give children the freedom to choose whether they want to play and learn inside or outside. This choice encourages independence, letting children follow their interests and moods.
On sunny days, some children enjoy water play or building blocks in the fresh air, while others may stay inside for a cosy story or creative art project. The open doors keep both spaces connected so friends can still see and chat with each other, no matter where they are. This fluid link between inside and outside creates a safe, inspiring environment that supports learning, wellbeing, and natural curiosity.

Celebrating Together: Our Open Day
To mark this exciting new chapter, we recently held an open day in the garden classroom. We were honoured to welcome the Mayor of Calderdale and Sue Devaney, a beloved local actress, who joined us to celebrate with families and staff. It was wonderful to share the joy of this new space with the community and watch our little learners explore their new environment with such enthusiasm.
Our outdoor classroom is already becoming a favourite spot for our nursery children. We’re excited to see them build confidence, make friends, and discover the world around them in this beautiful garden setting.
