Overview
We are seeking a kind and dedicated practitioner to join our childcare’s day nursery in Triangle, Halifax. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their developmental needs through activities and personal care.

Duties

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that promote learning, development, and socialisation among children.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children’s progress and any concerns.
• Carry out necessary cleaning, and maintaining hygiene standards.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, safeguarding policies, and early childhood education standards.

Requirements

• Some knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education, additional training will be provided.
• Innate kindness to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Qualifications such as Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent are welcomed but not necessary.

We’re looking for a kind, reliable person to join our team to work towards your Level 3 Childcare qualification.

Daily tasks:

• Assist with daily activities, play, routines, and caring for children.
• Keep spaces tidy and safe.
• Support fun, engaging learning experiences.

Requirements:

• Someone with a passion for working with young children.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Being willing to learn about child development, safeguarding, first aid and more.
